Understanding PRP
Your own plasma used for targeted hair treatment.
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is prepared from a small sample of your blood. The sample is processed to concentrate the platelets, and the prepared plasma is injected into selected areas of your scalp.
For suitable patients, PRP may support improved hair density and reduced shedding. It does not, however, guarantee regrowth. Your consultation can help understand whether PRP should be a part of your hair treatment.
